MICROSOFT ADVENTURE

Microsoft Adventure was released on December  8, 1979 by Microsoft. The game was developed by Gordon Letwin.  Microsoft Adventure is an adventure game.

Adventure was originally written in FORTRAN for the DEC PDP-10 computer and serves as a demonstration in artificial intelligence.

The game uses a text based interface as it ran on period mainframes.

The game world was set inside a cave.

The game barely fits in 32K and really needs 48K to run with fewer disk accesses. CP/M machines often had insufficient memory. The PDP-10 is a much more capable machine. Mainframe users have adequate hardware.
