Fingerbones was released on March 20, 2014 by David Szymanski . The game was developed by David Szymanski.

It’s a short, narrative-focused horror experience, in the vein of games like Serena. If you’re averse to reading or demand overt threats and jump scares in your horror games, this is not a game for you.

The game deals with disturbing subject matter. Be aware that this is not a game for children or those likely to be easily triggered.

The screenshot below shows the use of more advanced lighting which lends itself to the horror genre of stores. The game has a simple, blocky, retro-style visual, a look that could easily fall into mid-to-late 90’s game.

Fingerbones would make for a good Hitchcock script. Play the game and you will see.

The game is designed to be done in one sitting, there is no save capability. It may take 30 minutes to complete. Once complete the game then quits.

Overall the game is an interesting first step into a new Genre for the developer. The game uses the Unity engine.

The game is free to play on Steam and it seems like it has some potential.
