Dying Light was released on January 26, 2015 by TechLand who also developed the game. Dying Light is an open world first person zombie shooter.

Roam a city devastated by a mysterious epidemic, scavenging for supplies and crafting weapons to help defeat the hordes of flesh-hungry enemies the plague has created. At night, beware the Infected as they grow in strength and even more lethal nocturnal predators leave their nests to feed on their prey.

The game is a lot better than some of the island style zombie games of late. Lots of side quests are present to help keep the game active. Lots of different zombie types to overcome the limitations seen with a lot of shooters. The maps are very well thought out. Still there is a lot of parkour action jumping around on ledges and leaping over things.

The first 2 missions are designed to get the player more used to the game. Then the missions start to provide a day and night cycle that makes the game much more realistic. Running into an abandoned house to look for things is typical but the overall gameplay is excellent. The player has a radio to help guide the missions which can be challenging as food has to be found all the time.

The game is well suited to both single player as well as co-op multiplayer. The campaign can be done in 2-3 days which is a lot better than many games out there..The storey is a sideling itself and there are thousands and thousands of zombies to hunt down.
