35MM was released on May 27, 2016 by Sergei Noskov (Носков Сергей) who also developed the game. 35MM is a post apocalyptic walking simulator.

35MM is a post-apocalyptic story about two travelers who set out on a long journey in the wasteland, left by people after the global epidemic. A disaster destroyed much of the world’s population, the infrastructure went wrong and the common life remained only in memories.

The game involves a lot of exploration. The game is not very scripted. Plays need to collect supplies, food, batteries and weapons, solve quests and move forward on the plot, which has several variation in the final, depending on your actions. The pace of the game is relatively slow.

The game uses messages like you need not go that far etc. instead of a more fenced area like most games. Given the heavily forested area this can be done with trees etc.

The game was developed in Russian and it feels like they used a crude machine translation. This gives the game a bit more rough edge that it should have. The design is good, its the execution that comes up short.

The game features Steamworks with achievements and trading cards.
