The Zelotes F15 comes with 2 rechargeable AA batteries which should last at least a couple of years. The supplied changing cable can convert F15 to a wired mouse if the batteries need charging.

The Zelotes F15 does not need a mouse pad, the red laser can handle most desks fine. The pads on the mouse allow for a smooth movement on a hard surface.

The 9 button design gives the Zelotes F15 flexibility for media as well as gaming. Dynamic DPI makes it flexible for working with graphics etc. The buttons are not programmable and are fixed in function.

The LED feature tends to use a lot of power which will cause more wear and tear on the batteries. Metal-hydride batteries may last 200 charge cycles before they are worn out. Some more recent batteries may last longer now that a better understanding of chemistry is known.

The second switch on the bottom adjusts the mouse for 250 or 500 Hz response rate. For fast action games the 500 Hz will be more desirable.
