The Uncertain: The Last Quiet Day was developed and released on September 22, 2016 by CommonGames LLC. The Uncertain: The Last Quiet Day is a point and click adventure game. The game is now maintained by New Game Order.
The Uncertain is an story-driven adventure game set in a post-apocalyptic world. Experience the mysterious vibe of each of carefully explored locations, solve diverse puzzles, make fateful decisions and discuss intriguing matters to find out the whole truth being kept from you.
Imagine making moral choices in a world devoid of morality. Logic rules this world, and every decision is just a set of zeros and ones. Most concepts take a whole new meaning, and some get completely abolished. Luckily reasonable beings, even if not human, always have a choice.
Humans have gone extinct. Robots are taking over the planet. Provided with the abundance of leftovers from human civilizations, robots are rebuilding a new civilization for themselves.
- Classic 3D Adventure with unique story
- Beautiful graphics and immersive atmosphere
- Original indie soundtrack
- Made using NVIDIA GameWorks HBAO+, DoF and FXAA technologies
This game was released over time in chapters. The complete game can take 3-4 hours to complete. The game doesn’t allow manual saving, so you have to reload your save from the latest checkpoint if you somehow screw up. There is no replayability value unless if you want to read all dialogue options, which doesn’t mean much in the first place.
The game uses a lot of puzzles to keep the player focused. This puzzle is to fit to shapes to make a block which is similar to Tetris etc.
