Will Glow the Wisp was released on September 15, 2017 by PartTimeIndie. The game was developed by PartTimeIndie. Wisp is a platformer game.

  • Simple but deep mechanics
  • Play vs. another player’s recordings
  • Beat the Developer
  • Global Highscore
  • Lots of Particles and Bullets

Often aspects of certain levels are used in later ones, luckily though this is done with caution as to not make every level the same which is done relatively well.

The level design over all while still being fairly linear is done quite well for a game that is purely top down, while everything around you may be glowing dots your imagination is quite powerful and will imagine everything a game like doesn’t show you.

The levels are restricted, with that I mean that they are tighter then you would really need to dash and fly around with a small glowing dot, this may seem disappointing or poor design at first but later you can see that this perfectly plays in with what it’s trying to achieve to be, a bullet hell game. Your enemies do definitely not spit out enough junk to make this a bullet hell game at all. It’s the narrow design that could make it that.

Well the challenges are supposed to be pretty hard, but you do not need them to finish the game. If you have a hard time beating the challenges, it might be a good idea to choose next best as the ghost, so you can try to beat someone who is a little better than you. The main goal of the game is s speed run to solve the puzzle faster than anyone else.

This game fully supports a controller. The developer recommends it but the game is playable with keyboard and mouse.
