Uplay has given users For Honor, standard edition, for free for a limited time. The offer is extended until August 27 according to the news on the loader. You have to use the Uplay loader to be able to download and play the game.
Ubisoft has been working hard to get more users of the uPlay platform so that more game sales can be directly acquired instead of paying Steam a fat commission all the time. The Steam fees are very high which motivated several others to also go out on their own.
For Honor was released on August 28, 2017. So this free gift is aligned with the second anniversary. Ubisoft is still trying to get more gaming enthusiasts to come onboard and For Honor seems like as good of a carrot as any.
System requirements are on par with the contemporary consoles. The GTX 660 or better with and i3-350 or better and at least 4GB of RAM. The game is about 53GB installed with DLC adding to that.
