COD: MODERN WARFARE IS HUGE

The system requirements for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare are relatively mundane. The storage required however is brutal at 175GB. Red Dead Redemption 2 is almost as bad at 150GB. It seems that 100GB++ games are becoming more and more common.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is being distributed via the Blizzard battle.net loader. Red Dead Redemption 2 is being distributed via the Rockstar loader.

nVidia players can also expect Ansel and Highlights to be supported. DXR will require a GTX 2060 or better. nVidia is bundling the game with some video cards as an incentive.

Given most gamers have 512GB or maybe 1024GB SSD drives, the pressure to move to 2TB is brutal in light of recent game requirements. The battle.net loader does not yet have the ability to move games making it more of a nuisance.

The Micron 15TB SSD is expensive but it seems to be relevant in light of the growing game requirements.

The X470 board has dual M.2 slots but twice nothing is still nothing. This is reason the machine equipped with several high capacity hard disks. The demands on storage are growing pushing the need for capacity improvements almost annually.

Downloading games over and over does not make sense which is why more and more hard disks are purchased.

The front panel boxes are not that expensive and installing SATA SSD drives is one solution. This is less costly than the Micron solution.
