After moving the SSD from the X470 to the X570 no problems emerged. That was until I tried Halo and it complained of some devices error. I had to change CD key for Windows due to the new motherboard but that should not be a problem as the key activated fine.

Checking the account there are my laptops and that is all there is. The B350 and X470 are now back in their respective boxes as spares in case the X570 fails.

So I uninstalled the game and installed it fresh so there seems to be some problem with the game’s DRM that cannot be fixed.

All other game loaders are fine and all games work as expected. It’s the Windows Store game that is faulty.

So until this bug is fixed I am not going to be able to play Halo anymore. In the meantime there is Doom or Left 4 Dead 2 to amuse me.
