Outback Survival was released back last September on Steam’s early access. Now the developer has released a large update that seems to be the whole game being replaced.

The update bring the game to 1.5.7 and the update is themed Australian Day update.

The game changed the map configuration substantially. There was one level but now there are 121 levels possible in a town.

The foliage has also been replaced making the game look more realistic.

The game also changed the engine plugins so that updates to the Unreal engine can be installed easily. The goal is to be able to use the latest version of Unreal which is currently 4.21.1.

The level of detail has been improved mostly for higher resolution panels which are now slowly becoming more popular.
