Found a few Sapphire Nitro R9 Fury cards on eBay. I offered $80 and it was accepted. The card model is 100379NTOC+SR.

Price rot for an ex-mining card is brutal but now the card can spend the rest of its service life with gaming. In the last week digital coins fell by more than 40% which drove prices of extreme cards down to the clearance bins

This card is slightly more power hungry compared to the old HD 6970. This card needs dual 8-pin power cables which is readily available. The HX1000i is well positioned for running a pair of these if desired.

Sapphire is know for overclocking their Nitro line of cards. The R9 Fury is overclocked slightly above the reference to squeeze a bit more performance out of the silicon.

The Sapphire R9 Fury has a larger 3 fan cooler on it and it is 12 inches long. The space in the HAF 932 is quite adequate for such extreme cards. The larger EATX chassis are well suited for extreme video cards.

With more video cards, benchmarking can be expanded considerably.
