Asus has come out of the woodwork with a new GT 710. The GT710-4H-SL-2GD5 is designed for display purposes with four HDMI 2.0a ports. This card’s MSRP is $55.

The card is single slot and it is passively cooled so it is silent in operation. There is an obvious benefit of using more than one card for a larger array of panels such as a retail display or restaurent.

It should be mentioned that the 3840×2160 is limited to 60 Hz for one panel only; the rest are limited to 30 Hz operation.

The GT710-4H-SL-2GD5 has 192 shader processors based on that Kepler architecture with a GPU base clock of 954 MHz. The card uses a single PCIe lane so it can be installed anywhere more HDMI ports are needed.

The aluminum cooler is thin enough to fit into a single slot. The card depends on chassis air flow to handle the 19W TDP.

Asus redesigned the card with the four HDMI which need a full height bracket only. The Asus 144-hour validation program puts cards through a series of stringent tests to ensure compatibility
