WIFI 6GH CHANNELS

The 802.11ax standard also defines channel allocations for the 6 GHz band. This allocation determines the center frequencies for 20 MHz, 40 MHz, 80 MHz and 160 MHz channels.

On 23 April 2020, the FCC voted on and ratified a Report and Order to allocate 1.2 GHz of unlicensed spectrum in the 6 GHz band (5.925–7.125 GHz) for Wi-Fi use. The table presently is based on 802.11ax channel allocations at 6 GHz.

The 802.11be working group may change the channel allocations. At present each channel is 20 MHz. 40 MHz is made from bonding two adjacent 20 MHz channels. 80 MHz bonds four adjacent 20 Mhz channels and 160 Mhz bonds eight adjacent 20 MHz channels.
