NVIDIA has reintroduced the GTX 1050 Ti, GTX 2060 and GTX 2060 SUPER in a bid to resupply the video card market. Its well known that video cards are in short supply so reintroducing some older models was felt that it could help some who wanted a video card. NVIDIA can have the cards made on the older 12nm line with TSMC.
The GTX 1050 Ti, GTX 2060 and GTX 2060 SUPER are all best with 1920×1080 gaming. For those with 2560×1440 or 3840×2160 panels there are going to find the GTX 2060 SUPER can handle some older games but demanding games may not be successful.
NVIDIA believes that the GTX 1050 Ti, GTX 2060 and GTX 2060 SUPER will be available for gaming very soon.
The GTX 1050 Ti launched at $140 in 2016. GTX 1050 Ti cards on the day of their premiere cost around 600 – 850 zlotys in Poland. The renewed models, which can already be found in the first stores, are more expensive, and their price is around 1000 zlotys. The higher prices were met with some complaints.
It may be 4-8 weeks before new cards are available in local vendors inventory.
