APPLE RELEASES IOS 14.4.2

Apple has released iOS 14.4.2 for supported iPhones and iPads. WatchOS is now 7.3.2. It is advisable to update your Apple gear regularly to ensure proper operation.

  • Available for: iPhone 6s and later, iPad Pro (all models), iPad Air 2 and later, iPad 5th generation and later, iPad mini 4 and later, and iPod touch (7th generation)
  • Impact: Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to universal cross site scripting. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited.
  • Description: This issue was addressed by improved management of object lifetimes.

The company also released a patch update to iOS 12, version 12.5.2, so that iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, third-generation iPad mini, first-generation iPad Air and the sixth-generation iPod touch users can also benefit from the security fixes.
