With up to 1000W of power, the RMX line can handle even the most demanding video cards. Cards like the modern RTX 3090 can consume upwards of 500W of power when pushed to the limits.
At present the modern standby is only seen with the latest Intel systems. AMD does not support the sleep states with socket AM4. Support for the improved sleep states is likely to supported more widely with future systems.
Intel is still pushing for 12V only systems where 5V and other regulators are on the motherboard. The 5V standby is independent of the 12V system which can be used to power a mobile device for charging without loading the 12V subsystems. 5V standby in modern ATX power supplies has become extremely efficient.
