Everyone knows that Windows has notifications. Windows 11 takes this further by pestering me to install teams. Duh. its already installed but some Einstein at Redmond did not bother to check if it was present before nagging. So far I have been pestered a couple of times by Windows.

Years ago Microsoft bought Skype and since then it has faded into obscurity. Remember Live Essentials? It seems that Microsoft cannot seem to sit still. Live Essentials was borked when Outlook was changed into an online portal.

Back before WordPress, static HTML editors were dominated by Microsoft Front Page. WordPress has everything integrated. Cut & paste works so migrating content was not too demanding.

Linux changed the internet and after some decades it has become a popular choice for a web appliance. Windows has the gaming market for consumers and corporate users with Microsoft Office.
