After playing the game for an hour it suggests some tweaking of the game is needed to make its gameplay better in the modern setting,
Quake II was overhauled by NVIDIA a while ago making that old classic look great. Now the original is back with modernized graphics to make it look more contemporary. Quake is available on Steam and the update is a 470 MB download.
