Intel has indicated that due to the resurgence of COVID-19 that they are intending to not attend the CES 2022. Intel has already introduced X690 so it may be that Intel introduces lower cost tiers via their web portal until the problems are resolved.

Very little has been made of the CES 2020 which is usually a big event in Las Vegas. At the moment, the show is still scheduled to run from Jan. 5 to Jan. 8, 2022. CES organizers are mandating vaccines for in-person attendees and recommending testing. The company will be providing rapid tests to attendees at certain badge pickup areas.

Most likely there will be very few in attendance due to the rapid rise in COVID-19 omicron which has caused a sharp spike in new cases and hospitals are becoming overwhelmed all over again.

The health and safety of Intel employees, partners and customers is always a top priority. After consulting with health officials and in the spirit of Intel’s safety policy, Intel’s plans for CES will move to a digital-first live experience, with minimal on-site staff. ntel’s leaders encourage you to join as the company delivers all its CES content and experiences virtually via the Intel Newsroom.
